Charleston Puppetry Day
It's Ol' one eye Noodle here lettin' y'all know about Charleston Puppetry Day on Tuesday, March 22nd. There's an event at the DART library in the morning (10amish) and the a party at 6pm at the Read Brothers courtyard. Eden and I ( the Amazing Mittens) will be playing for that. The Read Brothers building is on the corner of King and Spring. Better ride a bike! Have fun HAPPY SPRING

I week form today, that's Sunday Feb. 19th, please come to a workshop by Rachel Manke, who has taught at Ashokan and other ukulele camps and has even appeared on 'A Prairie Home Companion'!!!! She's be teaching 2 workshops: at 3pm one for beginners, and at 4pm a workshop on Strumming (just what you need!) Each workshop is $25. Thanks to the good people at the Roaring 20s Hot Jazz Dance Club, the V-Tones are back at Prohibition! I know, I know...in this Vale of Tears one might ask oneself why? Why dance? Why celebrate? It's important to get out there and be connected to the world---life is more than just Tweets and Screen time. Get out and shake it up! You'll be glad you did. PS Usually there are plenty of talented dancers just waiting to lead you on the dance floor (or try to follow you!). The crowd is not snooty or judgmental at all. Come on out!
