The Return of Pirate Noodle!
Ahoy there, mateys! If ye be out and treading the waters of Mt. Pleasant on Friday, September 21st, seek me out and listen to the tunes of yesteryear at the Charles Pinkney Historical Site. It's Constituiton Week, which means scores of schoolchildren teem over the landscape and investigate the Colonial actors that work hard to make history alive and keep learning fun. They ususally have basket weavers and indigo demonstrations and African drumming and Cricket and storytelling. I'll be there from 10-2pm, and it's free! Did ye know that several of the songs you still hear today are from the 1700s and even earlier? This is a great event for all ye homeschoolers out there, too. Jump aboard!
