Blackwater Ukulele Festival
From out of the swamp, it returns! The Blackwater Ukulele Festival! I'll there, naturally on Saturday, September 14th, at Cypress Gardens. If you haven't been to the gardens, they are a vintage Lowcountry treasure. I'' present a workshop at 10:30am, then the V-Tones will play at 12:30pm. There'll also be our buddies, the Charleston Hotshots, a Hula class/demo, and boatride jams, hobnobbing, and a very popular open mic! The festival has been organized by Jim Ravoira--thanks Jim! Admission to the festival is included with your admission to the gardens. Musicians, teachers and organizers are all volunteering our time. This is a great opportunity to meet some fellow ukesters! I hope to see you all there! ALOHA!!!!
