H.H. Dalai Lama's birthday celebration

Each year, the good folks at the Charleston Tibetan Center host a massive party in honor of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, and some of the V-Tones have volunteered to make some joyful music for this occasion! The event in happening on Saturday, July 12th at the Gage Hall (Archdale street). The event runs from 6-9pm and costs $15. They'll have some great food, a short speech about the Dalai Lama, music from the V-Tones and a Tibetan fellow from the Amdo region will present some songs of the nomads from the roof of the world. Of course you don't have to be a Buddhist to attend. The Dali Lama has said that the world doesn't need more Buddhists, per se, just more good people! We're trying our best! So, everyone is welcome!
