Calling All Spoletians!

Spoleto is just around the corner, with its little sister festival, Piccolo Spoleto. Don't you need a band to lighten your sophisticated soiree? Call on the V-Tones for that Swampy Swing sound! Just contact me: the Commander in Cheese--Noodle at noodlemcdoodle@yahoo.com.  Let's talk!
Also, the V-Tones of Charleston will be performing on Friday, May 31st, 7pm at Allan Park for Piccolo's 'Concert in the Park'. This is a free show, and the Beebos, a neighbourhood Bluegrass band will be opening for us. What will we play? It looks like we'll be getting heavy into the Hawaiian this year. We've got some great players joining us---we'd love to see everybody there.
Plus, I'm honored to be playing a song for the opening ceremony of the Tibetan Sand Mandala construction. This year's mandala will be constructed by Yeshe Topgyal, and will be at Old Jail. The opening ceremony is on Monday, May 27th, 10am. The mandala takes many days to construct, and every part of the process is embedded with meaning. The public can view the process and the monk at work during Spoleto, 9-5pm through Friday the 31st. Deconstruction ceremony is Saturday morning.
AND, Join Lime and the Coconuts from 10am-2pm Fridays and Saturdays at the Second Presbyterian Church on Wraggs Square. The music is free with your charitable purchase of lunch. It's a Charleston tradition!
Thanks everybody, and thanks to Charleston for hosting this world famous, international, multi-week arts festival!
