Sol Driven Train at the Pourhouse for New Year's Eve!

Hey Friends! Once again I have been drafted to be the MC for New Year's Eve at the Pourhouse. What an honor! Sol Driven Train is the band, and wow--do they put on a good show. It's going to be a wonderful and bizarre affair, I'm sure, and SDT always puts on a great show. They mix up genres and write lot of originals---funky, funny, twangy, rocking---they do it all, and they are a great bunch of guys. Let's kick off the HappyNoodleYear with a big communal boogie-down. We'll be glad we did!

Christmas Semi-Formal

Greetings!!!! The good people of the Roaring Twenties Hot Jazz Dance Club have asked the V-Tones to play for their Christmas Semi-Formal. It'll be on  Sunday, December 22nd, at the Charleston Ballroom Dance Club (1632 Ashley Hall Rd.). The cost is $10, and that includes the lessons, which start up at 6pm. We'll be playing from 7:30-9:30pm. It's a potluck, so if you could bring something to share, that'd be wonderful. We've got a great band for this show, including the talented Mr. Roger Bellow and my wonderful wife, Eden Fonvielle. May you all enjoy a safe and peaceful Christmas season filled with Love, Joy and Fun.

Ninth Annual Holiday Extravaganza!

Bah-Hoo Door-Ray! Let the bells ring out! The V-Tones of Charleston are very happy and proud to announce our Ninth Annual Holiday Extravaganza at the main branch of our public library on Sunday, December 15th. The show lasts around an hour, and starts at 3pm. It's free!!! We will have: a full band, special guest stars, singing, dancing, and our super-surprise mystery guest. So, dress up festively, load up the sleigh with friends and relations, and get all extravaganzanated! You'll be glad you did. Wow, nine years....

Prohibition--let it begin!!

I'm playing at Prohibition a lot these days, and I love it! Wed. Dec. 4th you can catch me on the banjo with She Goes He Goes for dance night. A free Swing dance lesson is provided at 7pm, followed by live music 8-11pm.
Thursday, Dec. 5th is "Prohibition Day"--the day the prohibition law was repealed. I'll be with a trio at the Goorin Brothers Hat Shop on King Street from 6-7:30, and then later playing with the V-Tones at Prohibition again.
Wednesday, Dec. 11th finds the V-Tones in the drivers's seat for dance night back at Prohibition. We'll have our super surprise mystery guest, Mr. Nick Jenkins, on drums! Whew! Big fun!--throw caution to the wind---enjoy the freedoms you have, while you eat, drink and be merry!

ALL THESE SHOWS ARE FREE!
