Warm up at the Swing Dance!

Baby, it's cold outside, so come on in to the Swing Dance on Sunday, Dec. 1st. That'll be at the Charleston Ballroom Dance Club, and the lessons start at 6pm. V-Tones start producing sounds at 7:30, and go up to about 9:30pm. $10, chilluns are free. Everytime it's a different band! Bundle up the fam-fam and come on out to the dance. It's the best warm to stay warm!

Dance Night at Prohibition

Hurry! Hurry! Hurry! It's dance night at Prohibition! Each Wednesday this fine establishment hosts a Jazz/Swing band, and this time around ( Wed. Nov. 20th) it's the V-Tones of Charleston! We've got our special guest star Roger Bellow with us! So, there is no cover charge, there's no charge to learn some dance steps (at 7pm), and they offer drinks and food, which you can enjoy during our show: 8-11pm. Come on out folks! It's the best deal in town! Downtown Charleston, SC, King street, that is....

O'Hara and Flynn's

Down on Meeting Street, next to the famous Hyman's Seafood, is a little wine shop that hosts great music. The lovely and talented Mrs. Eden Fonvielle will be there with me this Saturday, Dec. 16th. We usually play from 8-11pm. Come on in, cuddle up with your favorite sungglebunny or puppybear and enjoy a glass of red wine and some vintage tunes. It's real Vaudeville, love-dovey style! O'Hara and Flynn's has been doing this for years! Thanks! Support your local music venues (no matter how mysterious)....

ATOMACON

Greetings, Earthlings! The V-Tones are pleased to announce our concert at ATOMACON, the Lowcountry's first SciFi/Fantasy convention. It's happening on the weekend of Novemebr 8-9-10th, but we'll be playing our concert on Saturday, November 9th from 5-6:30pm. Now, I'm sure you can get the details from their website, and you can get weekend or daily passes (the price isn't crazy). It's at the hotel (nee Sheraton) just off I-26 at the East Montague exit in North Charleston. They've got all kinds of interesting activities--beside costumery, there'll be discussions on writing, presentations form NASA people, superhero enthusiasts, and Sci-Fi/Folk music as well. We'll be there, and we'll have some friends from the Roaring Twenties Hot Jazz Dance Club with us as well to teach some dance basics. Let's have some fun, and may the force be with you! Yeehaw!
